Emily Amy Gallery hosts a concert by flutist Catherine Bull and composer Andrew Willingham in a program of music for flute and computer. The performance will include three world-premiers of pieces by Willingham (a recent graduate of Georgia Tech’s world-renowned music-technology program), along with other works by Shirish Korde, Edgard Varese, and Claude Debussy. Currently on view: Re-Purposed: The Use of Everyday Materials in Contemporary Art, featuring artists Sara Cole, Will Corr, Clayton Santiago and Sherry Williams.

Artist Prema Murthy gives an informal talk on her solo exhibition Breaking the Grid at 1pm. Through video, installation and works on paper, Murthy creates deconstructed grids as a myriad of metaphors that a line may evoke – boundaries mapped, landscapes measured, in both geo-political and psychic terms.
